MWSRA will be hosting two in-person pre-season meetings before the Fall season kicks off. You are only being asked to attend one of the meetings as the content in both meetings will be the same.
The 1st meeting will be held on Wednesday August 26th at 7 PM at the Executive Office Building Auditorium, 101 Monroe Street, Rockville, MD 20850. We anticipate finishing by 8:30PM.
The 2nd meeting will take place on Tuesday September 1st at 7PM at Paint Branch High School, which is located at 14121 Old Columbia Pike, Burtonsville, MD, 20866. The meeting will be held in the school cafeteria and we anticipate finishing by 830PM.
Meeting topics:
- Discussion of the recent changes to the Laws of the Game and how they should be implemented in our leagues.
- We will have special guests to present this topic in each of the meetings.
- Youth Leagues pre-season information (Soccerplex, MSI, CYO, PPP, etc.)
- School games pre-season information (Public and Private School games)
- Adult Leagues pre-season information (Soccerplex, HCRD, MCRD)
We’ve had a chance to debrief with many of our clients after the spring season and have gotten a lot of good feedback that we can share with you, and that we can all use to further support our clients.
In addition, each attendee will receive a long sleeve black MWSRA performance shirt.
We ask that for those referees that work these competitions, you do your best to attend one of the meetings. Please be on time and in your seats no later than 6:45PM so that we can get the meetings started promptly at 7PM and have you out by 8:30PM.
We look forward to seeing you at one of the meetings, and to working together in preparing to again deliver an outstanding refereeing experience to our clients.
